Here is a link that might be useful: new introductions for season 2005 - 2006

Man About Town, Dance Man, Aura Light, Excuse Me Darling, Champagne Moments, Tuscan Villa, Hot Gossip, Gracious Curves, and Count the Kisses are some of my favourites that do well here. All of these I have had time to see if they are ones if I can't live without. Any of the 2005/06 intros I couldn't comment on at this stage. They haven't been arouond long enough to know.
I presume by essentials you mean tried and proven, rather than just ones to lust after? All of Barry's new intros are lustworthy :-)
There are also some lovely introductions by Lesley Blyth, including Blues Brothers, Dear Chloe, and Oh She Said.

Bliss Bomb (Leslie's, I think)

Eurythmic

Lipstick Lies

Strictly Jazz

Walter Moores

slate

slate,
sparaxis was right, I was lusting after the 05/06 intros
My friend has Country Kisses in bloom now and a stalk coming on Astrobubbles, may be worth a mile drive to check them out.

Older Blyth iris Alpine Journey and Yes still put on a good show here.

Even the names are yummy.

Leslie Blyth's Peacetime

Let's Be Brazen had very good stalks in Oregon and was a great grower there. And Glamour Pants (available through Keppel in'06) made my must have list after I saw it too. Sweet Geisha has very large flowers, and an interesting pattern.

Wish my Astrobubbles looked like it was going to bloom

I love Cameo Wine 1982, and Temple of Time 2002 (Parent of Decadence). I will post some pictures when I get time this week.
