We just moved into a home with a large clump (about 4x4) of iris. I don't know which kind. The tuber things show above the ground, but I'm told that's fine. The leaves look healthy.

This Spring, we got a few blooms -- a beautiful sunny yellow. Not large, but so pretty against the green.

Should I be dividing them to get more blooms? By the size of the clump, it must have been around for a while. I don't know if the previous owners divided or not.

Should I feed them? If so, what and when?
