Depth of snap peas already sprouted

I will be planting some sugar snap peas this afternoon. I have had them soaking for a couple days and I think they are starting to sprout. On the package they are supposed to be planted 2" deep. Since they have sprouted should I still plant them 2" down or a little closer to the surface?
