I have to admit that I find these to be the weirdest looking lilies! Maybe I need to see some in real life so that I can develop a true appreciation. But thanks for contributing to this gallery. : )

They are not real lilies. It's Trycirtis.

Lily or trycirtis, I think they are cool. Favor orchids, I think. Think I lost my last one a while back. Thinking about getting more. Maybe I think too much;-)

Are they hard to grow? I got one from a BBS about a month ago. It was already starting to shoot. I can't tell if it comes from a bulb or what. It has sprouted some leaves from a side shoot. The main shoot was damaged from sitting in the box. We have had a lot of rain here in the mountains of NC and now I see some black spots on some of the leaves. Should I be worried?

Thank you! My 2 are coming in good now. I am getting a mottled leaves now. I think I may have burned the bottom a little by letting them get wet and staying in the hot sun. They seem to be healthy. The little baby is now starting to take off. Hopefully they will add some additional color to my container garden this fall.
