Apologies to Lilydude... you'll understand why shortly. Kept on thinking about the mystery chive and waited for Richter's catalog (herb specialist). Got it and went straight to the chive, onion selection and voilÃ -Welsh Onion- that has to be it! Googled to see said plant with its flower... EGG on my FACE, not at all as I had described it. You tried, I failed but we conquered! Thanks. Degarden.
