This year, I was a little cheap, and used onion seed from last year, as well as seed starting medium from the year before. Both were stored properly, but this year my seedlings didn't germinate as well as last year. I'm trying to pinpoint my mistake, so I don't make it again next year.

Seeds too old? Seed starting medium gone bad?
