Was the bulb a hefty size or was it small-ish?
If the soil is well drained, you should get more blooms next year. Your plant looks very health.

Well yes I think the soil is very well drained. Water doesn't sit very long at all. As you can see below I'm doing some trying to have some fun growing things on my apartment balcony. Do you think things being a little crowded may account for the reduced number of buds? I can't remember what this bulb looked like. I only ordered 3 but ended up getting a bunch of bonus ones that I planted as well.

You got babies too. And they all look very healty.
It took 4 years before mine grew 1 offspring!

They are crowded. Later in the fall after they have gone dormant, I would split them up an replant them in separate pots.

P.S. I only have some orange tiger lilies in containers.
The bulbils just fell into containers next to the mother plants and grew. You can't kill those.
