How long 'til lilies sprout?

14 years ago

About 12 days ago I planted 3 orientals and 3 orienpet which I got from B&D. I followed the directions and planted them 7" deep and watered well. They have yet to break the surface. I know a "watched kettle" will not boil. Is the same true for lilies? Should I stop looking? Just kidding, but how long would I expect to wait before seeing them above the soil?
