Growing under Lights

Just bought a CMH Philips MasterColor

So, I posted earlier about debating between HPS and a LED system. I did some research, looked at some spectrum analysis of it and decided to go with the Philips MasterColor 400W CMH.

One question I did have, I ordered a standard HPS 400 Watt magnetic 60hz ballast. From reading through forums this bulb will not work with the electronic/digital ballasts, correct?

Anyone have any personal experiences with these bulbs?

I have the same bulb, it will start in an electronic
ballast but starts to flicker and goes out after about
a min. but works fine in a magnetic ballast.

how's the bulb been working for you, have you found any issues with it?

I've only had it for about a week, seems a bit brighter,
I like color of it better than HPS or MH. Think Ill put
some bamboo under it an see how they like it.
