I have the same problem with Orientpets I got from Wayside last fall. My asiatics are come up fine that I transplanted in that bed. I want to dig too but I'll wait for replies.

You know, it's funny, because it seems like the orientals were the hardest hit. I've had asiatics come up.

Most of my lilies have come up on time but some have been very late. Particularly those planted among other plants that thickly shade the soil. Then again my Pumilum get plenty of sun and haven't come up very well at all while other lilies right next to them have come up great. (I think the pumilum are just plain NOT happy!)

In any case, the behavior of the Iris should not have much bearing on the lilies. Iris are notorious for succumbing to rot - which is why they are planted shallowly with the top surface of their rhizome exposed. Lilies are planted deep.

All you can do at this point is be patient. If some are coming up then its not hopeless. I planted 10 L. Regale among a heavy patch of Scilla that came up VERY slow (the 15 others planted in a different bed came up great). For the longest time I only had 4 emerged. Eventually most of the others came up. I have a new one emerging just yesterday. To date I now have 9 out of 10, but they range in height from 3 feet to under 3 inches! (This Fall I'm doing a serious thinning of the Scilla - I like them, but not like my lilies)

If your bed is heavily mulched pulling that back will help the soil warm up.

Because lily shoots may come up some distance from where the bulb is planted, if you can't resist the temptation, do any digging around carefully.
