Depends how far along they were before the damage and the extent. I've had some beans come back pretty well after a 'severe pruning' and others not. If you have space, I'd sow a new row now, and also nurse the old ones along until you can tell if they'll make it.

Thank N2..these beans were blooming and ready to set beans..I'll resow and also leave some to see what happens.

ghoghunter - the Easter-related critters got my beans right before they were ready to harvest, the (insert string of curse words). I got a handful of beans from 4 rows. But I see a lot of new growth coming out so I am hoping to get late beans. I am also going to plant fall beans as soon as I clean out my early lettuce and cole crops.
My mom used to mow over the rows of beans once the bugs got too bad, some years they didn't come out of it, but every other year she'd get a great crop in the fall from them.
