HELP! Rhizome rescue ? ?

20 years ago

I JUST recieved an iris order, where the rhizomes are intact. yet the roots are dried and dead, have few dried leaves, nothing but rhizomes with green leaves.

Since it is a new order, I would believe they havent been out of ground early.

Should I cut off dead roots, and soak rhizomes?
