Help, my beautiful 10 year old Peace Lily that I obtained at my best friend's funeral is dying in front of my eyes. The only things that changed is I added some potting soil to the top surface of the plant, I also turned the plant around, watered it when the the leaves began to droop. When I was turning it around, the top part of the biggest stalk fell over and broke off. I attempted to replant that stalk into the potting soil.

After the above, within 4 days my beautiful plant is now drooping, leaves are curling into thin pencil shapes. The soil is damp, I hate to give it more water...

Please, somebody HELP ME SAVE THIS PLANT.
