Martagon newbie question

Last summer I planted two martagons, after falling in love across a crowded garden. I live in MN, zone 4.

Strangly, they were planted about three feet apart. One is big and ready to bloom, the other is 3" high. What should I do? My temptation is to move it, but my wiser mind tells me I will kill it for sure.

Although they are close, it is a east direction, and the sunshine is different...I think the little one is getting MORE sun.

How much sun should they have? What about the soil? Any suggestions would be most welcome. I don't want to lose that lily. Thanks in advance.
