Congrats! Hard to say whether it will have time to bloom. They can handle some light frosts, though, so keep your fingers crossed.

It depends on when you get frost. Most of my rebloomers bloom in October/November. But we don't get frost here very often.

That plant really does look healthy and happy.

Upon closer inspection there are 4 scapes in the works. No frost in ten-day forecast. Maybe I'll see some blooms.

Hopefully, rebloom will be earlier next year when plant will have been in ground entire season.

If a frost is about to hit, you can cut them off and bring them indoors. Sometimes the blooms will open.

Its a bloom! An unexpected fall pleasure. Weather looks OK for the next week.

I like the color combo of your IB. Different from what we saw 20 years ago. I bought 'Party's Over' this year to have one with this combo. Hope it does as well.

By the way .... in the top photo there is a lavender blooming shrublet to the right of the iris .... do you know its name? TIA

The plant to the right is an Aster. I can't remember its name. On the left is a Mum with a red self-sowed sage (hummingbird garden) growing behind the iris.

That's a wonderful iris. I think I would stick that in a few different locations!

Its November 3rd and we've had a few frosts. But she doesn't seem to mind:

The first real freeze has wilted the flowers, but not the buds! The foliage was not affected. Maybe a few more warm nights will bring a new set of blooms.
