I am experiencing a new destroyer of my lilies. It appears the unopened buds are being picked off set, carried a few feet away opened up and the inside of the bud pecked or eaten!!!! It is a clean break from the stem. It does not appear any disease at the point of the break. all looks healthy on the stem and leaves. My goodness, growing lilies is a challenge. I have fought rabbits, voles and now this. Gardening is such a lesson in patience , any ideas? Lesley
