Beans in fall: pull, cut or till under?

My beans, bush and climbers are done for the season. The triple digit heat took it's toll. Now, do I pull the plants and roots out, till the whole plant under or cut off the plants and till the roots? Same with tomatoes.

Climbers I would pull off their trellis.
Bush I would mower & till.

If they aren't diseased, pull everything down off the trellis and till them under as a green manure. It will add soil fertility for next year's plantings. Conversely, if you have a compost pile pull them and throw them into it.

Thanks for the advise but I spotted another option on a blog (I forget which one) that said to cut them off at about 3" from bottom and they will regrow this season for a second crop. AFTER THAT, I will till under for next year's garden. So far, we have had some rain and not so hot weather so I might still be able to get some decent beans.
