Thanks for the lovely garden tour. Very natural and relaxing. What are the soft purple-white flowers in the first picture. I need them:)

I don't really know, they grow wild here and I got them from my dad's house(I wanted them real bad so I stole em' he he no really he gave them to me). I wonder if they are forget me nots? They are blue with a yellow center.

You have so many good-looking hosta--some of my favorites included like Guardian Angel and Cathedral Window--but I must admit I'm really taken with the large NOID--I hope someone can identify it. What a big, healthy beauty!

    Ohhh, Outrageous!
Would love to see more pics, especially of that one, as it matures.
It would probably take me at least as many MORE years before I could post bed pics, lol. I keep plodding along, tho!
    Great plants!

I got my NOID from my dad last year. He just bought his house and doesn't like Hostas and there are a whole bunch there. I still have to pick up 3 big ones that he says he'll rip out if I don't get them. I did post last year to see if anyone knew what it was but the closest anyone got was maybe a Celestial but I am not sure about that. I have a small Celestial that does look similar but the puckering doesn't even compare to this one, plus even the habit seems a little different and it looks more blue than the NOID. The known celestial is in the first pic behind Journey's End.

Michelle- I was so lucky this year I thought I had lost this one. I had moved another hosta out of it's place and put Outrageous in. When it started unfurling I noticed the streaks and I was so happy I was jumping for joy, my husband is still teasing me about it!

It's all still a work in progress, my kids are starting to get old enough now maybe I can start getting some help!! :)

Very nice, Alicia. That last one is Robert Frost and a very nicely grown one as well. Where did you get your Outrageous from?

That Blue Ivory looks amazing. I want one one! And On Stage looks great, even though it's so young. Another to add to my list.

Thank you Steve, I got Outrageous from Rob at Lakeside.

Both of my On Stage are 4 yrs old, they only look so small right now because they are still unfurling.

Check out Christmas Tree for the Noid.

Great choices! The purple flowering plant in the first pic someone asked about might be forget me nots.

I have the same NOID and it is a big one for me, too. Mine measures 3 1/2 feet across and almost that tall.

Holy cow thanks Paul I think you hit it on the head with that one I just looked it up at the library and the pictures fit it to a tee!

Alycia, you sure put in a lot of effort to get your garden to come together so nicely. Beautiful layout and lovely plants as well.

Be sure to take a picture of your NOID's blooms this summer. It will put the final touch to the ID. Then be sure to ADD THE NAME TAGS. :)

NOIDs add a touch of mystery to the garden, but you never know what to expect from them. Glad you have a good option for the ID.

That's quite a collection! IMHO June is always a standout - in any garden, in any company. Best hosta ever.

Luckykat, you don't need those flowers in the first picture. Forget-me nots, although beautiful are very invasive.

Forget me nots are only invasive if you let them imo anyway. The ones I got from my dad I put in one spot, then took the seeds and put those in another spot, but the original spot they never came back.

Also thank you for all the kind words. It is still a work in progress but I am getting there.
