Go ahead and plant them. You can plant them either in ground or in pots. I just got about 20 from 1/2 price sales about a month ago and the first ones are already starting to bloom. I planted them in pots. You could put all 3 in one pot if it's a large one. I've overwintered them on the porch and outside in zone 7a. You may even get blooms this year but the stalks will probably be shorter. You'll love them!
