“I have hired A&E Construction for both large and small projects multiple times over the past 8 years and without any hesitation, give them the highest recommendation possible. The owner of the company, Greg Fontaine, is experienced, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Projects were always done on time and on budget and if for some reason, the schedule needs to change, Greg does an excellent job communicating the reasons. Before working with A&E, we hired many contractors over the years, and no one ever compared in terms of quality of work combined with reliability and trustworthiness. Another thing we've really appreciated about working with Greg is his ability to provide us with options and ideas if we needed to scale back on a project. Two of the larger projects Greg did for us were finishing our basement and building a poolhouse. Greg was very cognizant that we did not have an unlimited budget and worked with us to make sure we got the most for our money. Greg also does an excellent job hiring talented and reliable people that I am always comfortable having in my home. Additionally, they are very neat and always clean up after themselves at the end of each day. Lastly, and most importantly, Greg really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond what's expected to make sure they are 100% satisfied. I can't say enough good things about him and A&E!! If you hire them, you won't be disappointed.”

“I hired Naama Faucett to design a mid-scale 3-story office building. Naama quickly understood the program and its complexity. Working within tight site and demanding schedule, Naama developed a building layout that emphasizes the fluidity from one space to another, enhancing the required interaction between the various departments while marinating a coherent design scheme . Her aesthetics solutions and perspective in bringing light throughout the building and providing indoor-outdoor common spaces were innovative. I mostly enjoyed her attention to details and her capability to visualize the space. The end result is remarkable!”

He truly cares that everything comes out perfect, and it shows in his work. From writing proposals to explaining things to homeowners to completing the project, Stephen and his team go through painstaking detail to make sure all of the details are exactly how he and the homeowner want them. “I used Wow Your Ideas for a complete home renovation. The inside of my home was almost completely demolished then rebuilt into an open concept dream home. The owner, Meko Foster, has an amazing brain that can turn the most difficult ideas into reality. He is brilliant, professional, personable, extremely reliable, and ALWAYS keeps "your" best interest and budget in mind. He removed walls, ceilings, moved doorways, etc., all according to code. After the reconstruction, Meko finished the interior with décor. His eye for color, décor, and design is extraordinary, as he has the ability to coordinate and blend the entire space so that it flows from room to room. I don't believe there is any unique idea that he cannot conquer. Meko starts the process with listening to your "needs" and "wants", keeping you involved throughout the project, then miraculously brings your ideas to fruition. And, if you don't have "ideas", simply let Meko figure out what the space needs. With a small budget, he added just the right touch to another house of mine that enabled me to sell it quickly. His creativity will amaze you.”

“Built a new extension, remodeled kitchen and built a new deck. The majority of the work was of the highest quality. Organization and planning could have been better. The project took a lot longer than expected. Some situations were beyond our control while others could have been avoided through better coordination. On the whole we are very happy with the work. We broke ground in November - it's now late July and I think we have 3 - 4 more weeks of work till we are completed.”

“When we bought our 1300 square foot bungalow in 2004, we knew that a renovation was in our future. The house needed major updating and in 2006, we hired Architect Stephen Rhoads to help us with that renovation. We had interviewed another architect, as well as a designer, however, it was clear that Stephen Rhoads was the right architect for us. Stephen is extremely knowledgeable, and creative as well as being friendly. He listened carefully to our wish list, and must haves, took notes, and even drew sketches with some ideas as we spoke. Eventually, Stephen turned our 1960 outdated bungalow, into a 2200 square foot dream home. Our family room with a stone fireplace and plenty of natural light is an addition to the back of the house. Our new kitchen opens to the family room complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and track lighting. Stephen designed a second floor with a Master bedroom with a spa like bathroom, and a studio with natural light. We also wanted a front porch and back deck, and better curb appeal which Stephen accomplished. He also designed a fieldstone patio, a front and back blue stone walkway, and helped us with some drainage issues in the back yard. Stephen Rhoads was able to come up with the perfect design so that we could have it all, and as the project manager, Stephen was on site every day making sure that the builder was doing their best work. We had several upgrades and change orders along the way, and Stephen negotiated with the contractor to get us the best deal possible. He also helped us get great deals on granite counter tops, faucets, lighting fixtures, and everything else that we needed to buy. Stephen is a wonderful problem solver with construction expertise, knowledge, and familiarity with the local building codes and laws. We are very happy with our renovated home, and highly recommend Architect Stephen Rhoads for any upgrading or renovation project.”

“Lasley Brahaney's crew did beautiful work on our new addition. They executed their tasks with skill and professionalism, handling all the details and keeping the stress level as low as possible. The workers were friendly, easy to talk to, and always willing to discuss any aspect of the project. Although our project was not a large one, the owner Marc took personal interest in making sure we were happy with all aspects of the work. We recommend Lasley Brahaney highly, and will definitely use them again if we have future construction projects.”

“We have had Larry so three jobs at our home now to include a porch remodel, window replacements, and entry/foyer remodel. His attention to detail is impeccable! On each project he has worked closely with us to get the design we wanted and he has incredible vision and ideas. He always completed the work on schedule and the end results are amazing!! Would recommend him for any services needed and we will be using him again in the future.”
