hi all, i planted a bed of asiatic lilly bulbs last fall '05'. they all bloomed successfully about 2 weeks ago, but the flowers only lasted for about 1 week. is this the usual run for asiatics? seems like a very short bloom period considering how long i had to wait for the stems to pop up out of the ground, establish their height, and then start forming their buds. interesting thing is that i just looked closely at the plants, and it appears that they're forming new buds again. do asiatics blooms more than once in a single season? i'd certainly be thrilled:)
