the bulbs will be ok ,just dont over water when you plant them,I have 1000 plus rescued over 10 years from demolition sites and roadworks clearing,they usually sulk and dont flower for a couple of years once disturbed .

You were right! I planted them and they seem to have all come back. I wish I hadn't thrown away the ones that seemed like they had dried out too much. But I still have 2 huge planters full of them.
