I've never grown irises before and was happy to find that remontant irises are now available. I placed my first order about two and a half months ago. I had my first bloom today from "Returning Chameleon"! I hadn't expected anything to bloom until spring and this is a really delightful surprise. My main gardening interest is antique roses and I think irises complement them beautifully. Having them bloom several times a year is an added bonus. Living in southern California I'm fortunate in having a long growing season and am already looking forward to a wonderful iris experience next year.
