Well , I broke down .......

and bought eight 5 ' bamboo sticks at $5 each . I am a " fat plant " or caudex plant kindof guy but these huge sticks really made me do back flips . I used to have a few small lucky bamboo sticks many years ago that I grew in water but they lived for about six months , grew like crazy and then BOOM one week I lost every single one so I shyed away from them . I noticed these particularly large sticks have decent roots on them so I'm going to try putting them in well draining/airated soil . I will give these guys another chance to redeem themselves .
