Idea for double use

I thought about using a cattle panel for growing pole peas on one side. Now would it be possible to plant pole beans on the opposite side of the panel?

I figured that since the pole peas would be finished by beginning of June and that the beans would just be starting by June I could get a double use of the cattle panel.

What about planting bush peas within an area, that I plan on planting tomatoes, I figure I would harvest the peas before the tomatoes would need the space or sun.

Now what problem/issues would someone see? I figure it is time to utilize the space I have.

They are usually considered good companions. I am surprised that in Zone 4b you finish the peas in June. Here their main season is July 1-July10. So in my opinion their seasons will overlap some. In fact, in Michigan I get romano beans at the same time or slightly earlier than peas.

Either way, another double use for them is to put collard or cabbage on the shady side, and chard on the sunny side. The greens will not help the beans, but the beans will help the greens a lot. Cabbage will appreciate the summer shade and finish nicely in the Fall.
