Rattlesnake beans in short supply

Word is out that Rattlesnake beans cannot be purchased at some stores that carried them in the past. I don't know the full story but just for general caution, if you have access to seed locally, you might want to purchase some if you want to grow them this year.

I know of two Canadian sources carrying them, Prairie Garden Seeds and The Cottage Gardener.
Are they just being dropped or is there more to the story? I ordered a pkg from The Cottage Gardener a couple of months ago so I have some.

Heirloom seeds sells them. They are pretty generous
with their beans.

Skyfire garden seeds has them, I grew them in late summer & were great!
