If you are planning on only keeping in a pot 1 or 2 years, any potting soil will do. Choose a smaller pot (4 inches) with holes for drainage. Roots should fill the pot well in 2 years.

Planting in ground will be the same as any other containerized plant.

I keep my seedlings in about 50% shade and they grow vigorously without burning.

I bring in to an unheated garage in winter when temps drop below mid 20's. I put out in spring when temps above freezing. I am willing to move them in and out of garage several times when temps rise or fall, so this system works for me.

Please go to container forum for that. It is a mistake to get "any" potting soil. I've gone in that direction and I'm warning you, it does not work that great.
