In this part of the house, we went from big beige box to two smaller spaces. we separated the two spaces with floating bookshelves and one side of a 6' chain-link dog kennel fence.

We removed windows and added sliding doors as well as reconfigured the top windows for more interesting design an less western sun.

The whole area is the same color gray - even the ceilings.
