My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Hosta Growth Spurts?

Some of the plants I bought bare root this spring started off really strong when I planted them in late April and grew fast for about 4-6 weeks. They were a nice size, I was happy for first year plants. At that time the weather had started heating up here in Texas and they stopped putting out new leaves but the plants remained very healthy looking. After around a month some of them suddenly began to take off again and are steadily putting out new leaves, especially Fragrant Queen, Fragrant Bouquet and Fragrant Blue. Others, like Blue Angel and Fried Bananas have put out no new growth for weeks but look good.
