In a recent edition of his blog, Talon Buchholz includes 'Mirte' among a list of shirasawa maples of interest. See link below.
Is this the same plant as Acer palmatum 'Mirte'? From the picture it does look similar, and I've never heard of a shirasawanum called 'Mirte'. Now I'm wondering about the proper identity of my tree. Does anyone have any information?
