Blueberry do not lend themselves to dividing, as they are woody plants. Native ones have a tendency to stolon and so make "new" plants, but U of M half high cultivars really don't. But there will be the odd bit now and then that one could nurture on.

I do grow blueberries at my parents' house. The bed is now at least 15 years old, still very productive, but new plants? I'd have to look to see if any has layered - maybe.

It was nice to meet you at the swap. Thank you for the plants too. I am also interested in blueberries, but no one has responded to my WANTED post either. Don't know if you want to work too hard to propagate them. I did a Google search and found the following links:

Hmmm. Seems simple enough. Now that I have an adapted heating apparatus to work with for propagating, I'put it on my list to try this winter.

Good luck Rick! I am not sure if it was in one of the above links or not. You are supposed to be able to propergate by layering (right term?). Bend down a branch to the ground and cover it with dirt. Roots will form after a while. But I cannot remember exactly when to do it, whether soft or hard wood and how long it will take.
