Hi goofeegardner! I see you are brand new on GW. Welcome to the group :-) Everyone is welcome at the swap, whether they have seeds to share or not. You could bring other garden related items, or if you don't have anything else to bring, just bring something for the potluck. There are always plenty of seeds to go around.

I just found out that Dotty (last years hostess) and Terry- (the fellow with the GREAT photos last year) will be planning to come as well- I did already forward the info needed to attend-

Nuts, my husband was going to give me a ride there and he got called into work to fix a computer glitch. Now I can't get there. I have even reorganized my seeds and even got photos for most of them. I can't show them off, maybe I will bring them to the plant sale just to show off how organized I am.

Pauline(zenpotter) - Bummer that you couldn't make it. Haven't seen you in a while, so yes you must come to the spring swap with your seeds.. If you see any seeds on my haves list, let me know and I can send you some.

Was so fun to see those that I hadn't seen in a while and a few new face! Joyce was so glad that you could come up from Rochester, not a short jaunt.

Mary - thanks for opening up your home to all of us.

Now to look through my loot I gathered and make a list of what will be winter sown and what will go under the grow lights. Too fun!!!

Mary, thank you so much for hosting! Pauline, I'm sorry you couldn't make it. I'd have loved to admire your plant photos and to have gone through your seeds and picked some out to bring home. And to everyone who was there, it was great to see you all! I missed the fall swap and it seems soooooo long since some of you were at my house in Owatonna for the SE MN spring swap. I missed ya! It was a fun afternoon. Good food, nice selection of seeds, and great plant people :-)

It was nice to meet everyone at the swap.
I am wondering if I could have the receipes for
the sloppy joes and the almond bark/chocolate
peppermint topped bars??? I don't know who brought them..
I realize that this isn't a seed request, however,
there are many other benefits from going to the swaps!

Mary- Thanks again for hosting this years Winter Blues Seed swap! You have such a great space to have us gardeney type folks over to swap seeds, tell stories and eat good food too! You are a gem to open up your house to us all- and to offer to do it again next year is way over the top!

Zen- give a shout out the next time something like that happens- I could easily try to bend the plans to pick you up! And if you are wanting for seeds- just let me know- I still have way too many in the old swap box(s).... You can come on over- or I could bring it on by some evening- or we could maybe meet in the middle....

It was so good to seed sow many of you! I wish there was more time in each minute when we get together....

I guess I will have to wait till spring for the MN GW Spring Swap at Dave's house to see so many of you all together again... Or maybe at Sandy's place in the fall at the fall MN GW Swap.... Thanks to you both for offering to host these events! It is a real treat when we can get together and share our bounty with each other! Thanks for hosting and planning ahead to make that happen.

I guess it is time to start sorting and sowing so I have a little something to share come spring... ;)~

Julie, Thanks for the offer of seeds, believe it or not I am not going to plant many seeds this year and I have what I need. I have decided to take a year off from adding garden beds and get the ones I have in better shape. I had Lyme disease last summer and didn't get much done at all.

I don't have to depend on John for rides very often just when my Fibromyalgia act's up.

I do so wish I had been able to make it. I will be watching for the info for the spring swap.

I had fun at the seed swap and I was thoroughly impressed with all the seeds that most of you had and your organization. I also got just the encouragement I needed to try Winter Sowing. I have 3 milk jugs out, 10 in process and 30 more jugs saved.

If everyone is ok with the drive, I didn't mind having next years seed swap. Looking forward to seeing you all again at the Spring swap.

A Cold Hello: I want to thank you Julie and all of the other people that were involved in the seed exchange that I received from everyone. I got so many that I really wanted, so it will be fun this summer to see everything in bloom. Thanks again and stay warm. OrDella
