It sounds so far away...I think I'll count in months until we're below the double digits!

Yeah, I wonder how anyone first thought of putting some bulbs in alcohol?

I think maybe because it is already known that alcohol and water are not inert with respect to each other. It's a mild diaretic for us and "dissolves" water in your car's gas tank, among other things I'm sure.
