JoAnne fabrics in Faribault is going out of business so they have their garden stuff on clearance. Don't know if that is a long drive for you or not.

Twin Cities is my stompin' grounds, so, yeah, it's a bit more of a drive than I'll be doing. Did you score anything cool?

I did find one thing at Target, and one at TJ Maxx, and I scavanged some cards I have... I wonder if there's any dollar stores that might have something that would be more cute than tacky.

The Dollar stores in Robbinsdale near Merwins have Glass Hummingbird feeders- Little tealight + glass garden candels- schlockey mini statues- But the best is the Only Deals store next to K-Mart off of 42nd and Winnetka- or any Only Deals- They get some larger stuff, and a larger selection with low prices- from tools to schlockie stuff- I don't know- but I bet they have their stuff out now.

They're going to be game prizes. I'll have to check out the Only Deals store--I've never been. I'm a bit dubious about the Dollar stores, but it sure wouldn't hurt to look. Is the Robbinsdale one at 4072 Lakeland Av N?

I found these great votives that can be placed out doors for garden parties (they're little glass/copper conical 'houses' that will hold a tealight candle). They were a buck fifty(!) at a little store in the Har Mar mall.

Leaves- I am not sure of the address of the dollar store- but it is in the mall where Merwins Drug Store is located off of 42nd and 81 in Robbinsdale.

I am sorry I can't remember the name of the store- I bought them two weeks ago- I know that they had a bunch of them still in stock. A family of Asian Indian decent runs this business- sorry for the cryptic details. Luckily Har Mar isn't too big- you should be able to find it.

If I get out that way I might stop and look but it's too far for a trip without calling ahead.
