Hi,

I have had to adjust the MD cooperative extension guide by about two weeks (we are on the Boarder of Bethesda). Our summers come quicker and last longer then Ellicott City so the early things HAVE to go in early (spring radishs, peas, etc.). I put in peas March 1 with good sucess for example. I also have to wait longer for the fall items. My soil is too hot till around sept 7 or 15th for spinach to germinate in the fall.

I use the MD cooperative extension as a guide adjusting the spring items two weeks earlier and the fall items later. Before planting I also measure the soil temp to see if things are where I guessed they would be for the item I am planting.

What's the link for the MD cooperative extension guide? I couldn't find on their site.
