To pot up my dahlias, and other spring bulbs? Last year was the first time I grew dahlias, I did dig them in the fall, and kept them in the basement. They look pretty good, still nice and firm, no mold etc. But I have no idea when to put them into pots and get them started.

I did notice today that my tuburous begonia had started growing down there. They were put into the basement last fall, pot and all. No water, no light, all winter, is it time to bring them up into the light? And start watering them too?

Hopefully it will warm up, here in the frozen tundra of NW MN. I never did do any winter sowing this year, and have tons of seeds! I am thinking I will still try it, really do wish I had a greenhouse......sigh
