I don't have any experience with that rose but if you're willing to mound the base of it up with mulch or dirt late in the fall than it should survive just fine. The canes may die down to the (mounded up) mulch line or the snowline but they will regrow quickly in the spring. Mine go through this dieback every year. I grow a ton of roses and only a handful are rated for zone 4 or colder.

What?? Only one rose?? For sure you will have to work on that and get a couple more this summer. You don't want poor Cecile getting lonely out there all by herself....
