chandelier - too big for the room?

hi,
i have a small dining room - 10' X 10 - open on either end to a living room on one side, and a large open kitchen/playroom on the other. there are no windows (its the middle of a townhouse) - i have a chandelier in my family that i could use, but I'm afraid it will be too large for the space - I'll attach the picture; the dimension are 24"W by 32" long (plus however much you hang it down) - my ceilings are about 10 1/2'
