I purchased a Delphinium plant last summer. I have been checking daily to see see if anything is sprouting - nothing yet. I have never grown Delphiniums - should there be some life spruting from the ground yet? I understand they bloom in mid-summer. I am afraid it may not have survived our cold, snowy winter, though I understand they are very hardy.

I just have some dead sticks from last year's plant. Is there hope???
