The highlight of my weekend! Last year, I took everything out of the compost bin that was even 'half cooked' and dug it into the garden. Then I was really bad and didn't get the stuff in the bin turned at all, all summer long. Imagine my surprise when, dispite my neglect, I dug in yesterday and carried 12 large (7 galleon, I believe) buckets of pure black gold to my veggie garden.....

Then, to make good things even better, I got 4 more large buckets from my smaller, secondary bin.

I can't believe that I wasted all those years, living on a farm, and raising kids, when I would have had tons of great stuff to compost! Why didn't I start this sooner?
