Beautiful Spring Chaos

Many of you know that I have a series of gardens planted by the previous owner and supplimented by myself - wherever I can find room - of mostly native plant species. The chaos of color and texture in them is amazing, though I wouldn't will weeding on any of the rest of you. Often I just throw up my hands, otherwise I'd probably weep! *LAUGH*

So beautiful. I just came in from weeding! Time to put down some more mulch I guess.

Where do you find your native plant species? My mother's day gift is my husband and son getting a rain water garden ready for me and I want to put in native species.

The Friend's Plant Sale has TONS and starts tomorrow (through Sunday) at the State Fairgrounds. Linder's has some, but not the really interesting stuff. A lot of this came from Landscape Alternatives I understand, just up the road from me at the moment, but they will be relocating up past Stillwater- *LAUGH* onto the old organic farm I worked at for years...small world. Garden Web swaps are also fantastic for getting them. And let me tell ya, I have quite a few things I need to share...
