Cool! I went out to ogle mine that I got from you, it's not that big, darn it. I'm thinking if it should, it'll go well with the 'Eyeful Tower' obedient plant that I bought last year, they can duke it out.

That sounds about right, Larry. The one I have in part shade is much more robust than the one in full sun, for some reason. I definitely have to get pictures once it starts blooming.

I have monarda that's about that tall. Jacob Cline and Raspberry Wine, actually.
However, Mahogany and another with a name that escapes me is struggling about about 8''.

Do you get the powdery mildew on yours? I do, but have no idea what to do.

For whatever reason, I've got very little powdery mildew or blackspot an anything this year. The opposite of what I would expected with the cool, wet spring.

You can either use any number of sprays for mildew, or else try and improve the air circulation. Plants in morning shade have more problems than those in sun since the leaves stay damp longer.

I sprayed with Cornell Formula and it seems to have worked for Powdery Mildew. It's pretty non toxic. Horticultural oil and baking soda. If you search on the Rose Forums you can find the recipe.
