Wal*Mart, any craft, garden center and all mass merchandisers should carry it. You need to look in with the potting soils and additives.

I am looking for the really fine perlite-its like sand. I have checked at many stores, nurseries and such and nobody carries it. I can't use the regular stuff, it is too coarse.

Could you order it on-line?

Did you try calling Lyndale Garden Center (the mothership, in Richfield)? I found vermiculite in big bales there at a reasonable price, when I couldn't even find little high-priced retail bags elsewhere.

I am looking for finer perlite, like sand granules. VERY small.
I don't need vermiculite.
Nobody I am aware of carries very fine perlite. I will call Lyndale, but the last time I was there they did not carry fine perlite. Only the coarse stuff. I need the fine perlite.
