Do you have two or only one? I thought you needed two for polination.

How big is it after three years?

I'm already tempted, I hope you get fruit, that would make it easy for me to buy a couple.

I only planted one, since "Sunflower" is supposed to be a self-fertile cultivar. However, I did add two pawpaw seedlings to my order from Reeseville Ridge Nursery out of Wisconsin this spring just to see how they'll do and because they were only a few dollars each.

Right now it's about 1.5 ft tall, so it's added about 10" since it was planted. The first year it only added an inch or two, but last year took off pretty well. I'm hoping it adds as much if not more this year as the root system becomes really established.

I'm going to plant seeds for PA Golden and try either Rappahannock or Sunflower or both. It sounds to me like PA Golden is the earliest to ripen by a fair amount. You may want to look at getting a scion and grafting it to your sunflower. Then you can be sure of pollination and you will have one branch of fruit that will make it to being ripe on most years.
