Contorted branches are evident with girdling roots. Can you post a pic?

I will try to take a pic and post it. When planting a lot of soil had to be removed to find the flare and did not notice any girdling or potential girdling roots. Maybe when the snow stops and temps return to normal I will inspect again. Thanks for the response whaas.

Sometimes with these larger specimens they are too closely space in the nursery so sometimes the branches will reach and wrap for the sun. Could be another reason.

At the end of the day your tree will likely be fine and fill out.

All just assumptions at this point. I'd try the trees forum if you happen to get a pic. My get more hits there.
