Plant sources in West Virginia

I really don't know if this is the right forum to post to, so I apologize if it is the wrong one.

A friend of mine is relocating from the Oregon Coast to Bluefield, West Virginia in about three years and would like to know of plant sources other than Lowes. Also, none of her neighbors are gardeners so if anyone knows what grows well in that area, I'll pass the information along to her. Thank you!

It is really hard to believe that none of her neighbors are gardeners, nearly eveyone in WV is a gardener. So if her immediate neighbors aren't, she won't have to go very far to find one.....
