My wife and I recently visited a Japanese maple nursery while on vacation in Central California. They had over 350 varieties of maples. I was pretty blown away by the selection. I picked up a 4' 'Curtis Strapleaf' and a 'Beni shichenge'. Anyway, they are very nice looking trees. If I get time later, I'll post the pictures. I'm not sure if the nursery ships trees or not, but its worth asking.
