Dig this Saturday

Well, I signed a contract to have my front porch rebuilt (and greenhouse bay windows installed in my dining room). They want to start demolition of the old porch next week.

So this Saturday (November 4) I need to dig up all the plants and shrubs between my house and the big oak tree in the front yard. Iris (setosa, siberica and pseudacorus), chaemonanthus (sea oats), hellebores, ferns, hostas, italian arum, several azaleas, clematis, and more. Some I want to keep, but there will be plenty of offsets and spares for anyone who wants to help, plus lotsa other stuff around my always-overcrowded beds.

Come dig, and go home with plants!
