Delphiniums don't come in bulbs so must be glads. Glads I don't think are hardy here, so must be planted in spring.

I don't have any personal experience with glads but my neighbor grows lots of them and they do winter over.

Yes, Glads will overwinter here just fine. They will multiply, so unless you want to divide and make more, I'd just leave them in the ground...

Mine aren't in the ground; they're in a paper bag.

However, based upon this post, into the ground they're going to go.

Anyone have any experience with hot, unmitigating, God-awful, Southern Maryland sun? Oh - and the way things are going, no rain? Will Glads take that?
