Sorry, let me clarify:
We moved this past weekend to Green Mountain Falls, Colorado (elevation 7,800' zone ?) just west of Colorado Springs. Before that we lived in Fountain Colorado (zone 5a) which is just south of Colo. Springs and about 2,200' lower than Green Mtn. Falls. Direct sunlight on growing areas for only a few hours per day (not sure yet, since we haven't been there long and are still moving in, but maybe 6 or so hours a day), We do have fairly long days this time of year at our latitude (approx. 39 degrees north), however.
